Kyrgyzstan has not yet succeeded improving the agricultural products quality, first vice-premier says

Almaty. September 30. Silkroadnews – The primary goal of agriculture sector in Kyrgyzstan is to improve the products quality, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Muhammetkaly Abulgazi said.

«The biggest problem of agriculture is we cannot improve the quality of our products. In this regard, on the initiative of the Prime Minister Sooronbay Jeenbekov, all the regions have started building the large cooperatives and introducing modern methods of work in agriculture sector. I believe the time has come to move from quantity to quality», KyrTAG quotes M. Abulgazi speaking at the presentation of automated information system of registration of veterinary and phytosanitary documentation.

Deputy Prime Minister also stressed the need to create a specialized plant for slaughter cattle in every region of Kyrgyzstan to prevent meat of animals butchered at home coming onto the market bypassing the veterinary examination.

He added, the local authorities are to work closely with the farmers engaged in animal husbandry to improve the livestock breeding quality.
