Kyrgyzstan has stopped the channel supplying heroin in Belgium through Kazakhstan

Almaty. On March 31. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyzstan suppressed channel of delivery of heroin to Belgium through Kazakhstan, reports KyrTAG.
"On March 28, State National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic suppressed the activity of transnational criminal groups consisting of foreign nationals. It was found that the criminal group for a long time had been smuggling and transporting narcotic drugs on a large scale from Turkey - Iran - Turkmenistan -Tajikistan - Kyrgyzstan - Kazakhstan - Russia - Belgium", - said in a statement on Tuesday.
Clarifies that the leaders and members of the group were detained during search operations in Bishkek and Chui region. During the inspection, in the trailer of the vehicle was found a secret compartment with double bottom with heroin, packed into bales weighing 500-550g. Totally found 240 briquettes weighing 125 kg.
Investigation Department of local authorities has opened a criminal case under the Articles 204 (smuggling) and 247 (illegal drugs trafficking) of the Criminal Code. The detainees are taken to the remand prison.
