Kyrgyzstan has strengthened veterinary control at the border with Kazakhstan due to the anthrax outbreak

Almaty. June 27. Silkroadnews – Due to the anthrax outbreak in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan’s veterinary inspection strengthened control at the state border, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

“Due to the anthrax outbreak in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the State Inspectorate for veterinary and phytosanitary security strengthens veterinary control at the state border with the Republic of Kazakhstan on the livestock products import into the territory of Kyrgyzstan,” Ministry of Agriculture informed in a statement.

At the same time, the Kyrgyz side notified accordingly the Kazakhstani side and the Eurasian Economic Commission on the need to take measures to prevent the contaminated products entry into the territory of the EEU member states.
