Kyrgyzstan in winter is provided by its own vegetables and fruit only by 12% - farmers

Silkroadnews - Greenhouses of Kyrgyzstan occupy about 2 thousand hectares of land, but most of them work only in the warm season, which is bad for the security of the country's own fruits and vegetables in winter. This was announced by the general director of one of the greenhouses Tilek Toktogaziev, transmits KyrTAG.
He added that most greenhouses are operating in Chui and Osh regions near large cities. In the greenhouse complexes people mostly plant cucumbers, tomatoes and herbs.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, in Kyrgyzstan operate 350 to 470 greenhouses.
