Kyrgyzstan is interested in cooperation with China, the prime minister of the Kyrgyz Republic said

Almaty. January 13. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyzstan is interested in cooperation with China, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Temir Sariyev stated during the meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to Kyrgyzstan Qi Dayuy, KyrTAG reports.
“Among the important topics for negotiation which took place during my official visit to China I would like to mention three of the most promising areas of bilateral cooperation”, T. Sariyev added.
In particular, according to the Kyrgyz prime minister, the point in case is about the construction of the railway China-Kyrgyzstan.
“In this regard China offers a narrow “standard” railroad gage which is based on the economic calculations. The second direction is the participation of the Chinese capital in the construction of ring road around the lake Issyk-Kul, and the third one is the transfer of excess capacity from China to Kyrgyzstan”, the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic specified.
He stressed that upon the results of his official visit to China, the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic is entrusted to provide, without delay, the Chinese side with a list of capacities in need for Kyrgyzstan with outlining the economic calculations.
Ambassador of China said that the Chinese side will make all the necessary efforts and assist in the implementation of the plans.
“Today I will inform the Chairman of the State Council of the PRC on the current negotiations status. I emphasize China is interested in cooperation with Kyrgyzstan and implementation of projects offered by the Kyrgyz side. Overall, we intend to actively expand the cooperation between our countries in various areas serving the interests of two countries”, he added.
