Kyrgyzstan issued passports for tried and those hiding from the debt payment
Almaty. October 21. Silkroadnews - Employees of the Social Fund and the State Registration Service (SRS) of Kyrgyzstan illegally issued new passports to citizens, previously convicted, fled from the payment of debts and child support, reports KyrTAG.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed that the Social Fund officials and SRS illegally issued new passports to more than 2,200 citizens of the republic.
According to the press service, the citizens changed the name, surname, patronymic, personal identification number, which gave them the ability to hide incriminating information about themselves. Corruption scheme for issuing passports with altered personal data operated for several years.
On this fact the Prosecutor General's Office opened a criminal case against officials of the Social Fund and the SRS. The case is under investigation.
