Almaty. May 21. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyzstan offered to Thailand and Japan to conclude an agreement on air transport, and to resume flights with South Korea, says KyrTAG.
"Recently, agreements have been concluded with Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia on the air, they now are in the process of approval by Parliament. We offer this to other countries too, such as Thailand and Japan. We can not fly to Europe, but Japanese ships may be sent to Europe by transit through Kyrgyzstan", - said the deputy director of the Civil Aviation Agency Murataly Toktobek on Thursday.
According to him, the agreements contribute to the development of international cooperation and open legal framework for direct flights. Also in 2012, it opened flights in South Korea, but because of the lack of congestion flights, it was considered uneconomical and routes were closed.
Recall, Kyrgyzstan has similar agreements with 25 countries.
