Almaty. September 24. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyzstan on November 1st will increase benefits for children from low-income families, reports KyrTAG citing the Ministry of Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic.
"The Ministry of Social Development from November 1st increases allowance for children from low-income families in Kyrgyzstan. Determining indicator for calculating the benefit is a guaranteed minimum income, which currently stands at 640 soms for each family member",- said in a statement.
At this time in the country live 106 thousand families in which 313 thousand children who receive monthly social allowance. Since November, a guaranteed minimum income will be increased to 705 soms, which would entail and increase benefits for children from low-income families.
It is reported that the initiative of Ministry of Social Wealfare to increase aid to poor families is supported by the government, despite the national budget deficit.
