Kyrgyzstan on the Open Budget Index is ahead of Kazakhstan, Turkey and India - Ministry of Finance

Almaty. October 15. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyzstan on the Open Budget Index is ahead of Kazakhstan, Turkey and India. This was announced by Deputy Finance Minister Almazbek Azimov, reports KyrTAG.
"According to research by the International Budget Partnership, on the Open Budget Index, the Kyrgyz Republic totaled 54 points and the country ranked 34th place. We are ahead of such countries as India, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Malaysia and Serbia. If we take the former Soviet Union, Kyrgyzstan is on the third place after Russia and Georgia", - Azimov said at a press conference on Thursday.
According to him, the good position of the country due to the active work on the preparation and publication of eight key budget documents, on which the index is evaluated.
