Kyrgyzstan plans to build a colony of strict regime worth $ 28 million
Almaty. June 1. Silkroadnews - The State Penitentiary Service (SPS) of the Kyrgyz Republic presented a project of building a new colony worth more than $28 million, reports KyrTAG.
Special complex will consist of four institutions that will meet all the requirements of security, including video surveillance, electronic locks, plug of the mobile provider. According to preliminary calculations, the cost of the complex is $28 812 054.
According to SPS, in the case of the launch of system, will be eliminated the need for the maintenance costs of the Department of protection and convoy that will annual save 300 million som. At the same time, due to the reduction of the technical staff and the cost of repairs will be saved more than 50 million soms per year. Due to the compact detention of prisoners will decrease MIS personnel, which will raise the salary of the rest. After the transfer of prisoners to the complex, will be available the most of the institutions, some of them can be used as a labor colony, and the rest realized through public auction.
Vice Prime Minister Abdyrakhman Mamataliev instructed all heads of departments to carefully examine this issue, taking into account all the risks associated with the project.
