Kyrgyzstan’s GDP decreased by 5% in I quarter of 2016
Almaty. April 15. Silkroadnews – Kyrgyzstan’s GDP for January-March 2016 made 78.8 billion som with the economic growth rate standing at 95.1% (-4.9%), KyrTAG reports.
The GDP deflator stands at the level of 102.7%.
Excluding the enterprises operating at the Kumtor field, the real GDP growth rate amounted to 101.0%, while for the same period of 2015 it made 102.4%.
The economic growth is provided by the following sectors: agriculture – where the volumes got increased by 1.5%, services – by 2.5%, construction – by 0.1%.
The negative contribution to GDP growth comes from the industry sector, where the growth rate made 74.9%.
In the nominal GDP structure, the share of industries producing goods decreased by 4.3 percentage points down to 32.6%, the share of industries providing services has increased by 4.1 percentage points up to 54.4%.
