Almaty. September 9. Silkroadnews – According to preliminary estimates, in January-August 2016 Kyrgyzstan's GDP totaled 260 billion som, having increased by 0.4%, KyrTAG writes.
«In January-August of this year the gross domestic product amounted to 260 billion som and grew 0.4% on a year-on-year basis, the preliminary estimates show», said Chinar Turdubaeva, the official of Kyrgyzstan's Committee on National Statistics, during the press conference on Friday.
According to her, not to take into account the companies developing «Kumtor» mine, in January-August 2016 the gross domestic product amounted to 241 billion som, having increased by 2.1% in comparison with the corresponding period of last year.
