Kyrgyzstan’s major trading partners are China and the EEU states

Almaty. February 10. Silkroadnews – Kyrgyzstan’s major trading partners are China and the EEU states, KyrTAG reports.

According to the data by the National Statistics Committee, “the major trade turnover, as a part of the total volume of foreign trade activities, Kyrgyzstan has with China (28.3%) and the EEU states (39.4%)”.

After the Kyrgyz Republic joined the EEU, in 2016 total trade with China jumped by 45.5%, imports increased by 42.7%, exports grew by 2.2% compared to 2015.
  
“Within the EEU the highest trade turnover is with Russia – 53% and Kazakhstan – 44%. With Belarus trade turnover amounted to $39.443 thousand and dropped by 30% compared to 2015”, the officials reported.
