Kyrgyzstan’s National Bank supported intervention selling $5.4 million

Beijing. January 15. Silkroadnews - The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic supported the foreign exchange market selling $5.4 million, the Kyrgyz Telegraph Agency reported referring to the site of the financial regulator on Monday.
For the first time in January 2018 the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan supported the market selling $5.4 million. To note, the U.S. currency began rising in early November 2017, which forced the regulator to enter the market nine times selling $42.65 million. In December the bank sold $24,7 million.
Today, exchange offices and commercial banks buy the U.S. currency at 69.30 som, sell at 69.45 som. The nominal rate is set at $1equal to 69.37 som.
