Kyrgyzstan will open another eight centers for children suffered from violence
Almaty. August 18. Silkroadnews – In 2016 Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Labor and Social Development will open another eight centers for children and families in difficult situations in different regions of the country, KyrTAG writes.
As the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry informed, the centers will accommodate children who have suffered from violence or abuse. Also, the centers are to provide the families with psychological, legal, counseling assistance.
In 2015 the ministry opened seven such centers, including the one in Kadamzhay district of Batken region that has already helped 180 children in difficult situations. In 2014 another four centers started to operate within the framework of the state social order. For two years they helped 374 children.
With this the ministry pays great attention to the prevention of corruption risks and quality of services rendered, including those provided in the framework of the state social order. For this the sector for monitoring and inspection of social services has been created.
