Almaty. September 10. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyzstan will reduce the purchase of Kazakh coal to Bishkek TPP to 200 thousand tons, reports KyrTAG.
"We will reduce the purchase of Kazakh coal for thermal power station of the capital by 200 thousand tons. They will be replaced by the purchase of 90 million cubic meters of gas. This is due to the fact that gas prices from October 1, will be reduced from $224 to $ 165 per 1 thousand cubic meters",- said the Minister of Energy and Industry Osmonbek Artykbaev on Wednesday.
According to him, as a whole to conduct the autumn-winter period, it is planned to buy 560 thousand tons of coal from Kazakhstan, 400 thousand tons of Kyrgyz coal, 22 million cubic meters of gas and 13 tons of fuel oil.
"By decrease of the cost we fit into the same amount. Decline in coal also have a positive impact on the environment, sincу there will be less emissions",- he said.
