Kyrgyzstan will supply to Russia 500 tons of walnuts

Almaty. October 7. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyzstan has signed a contract for the supply of 500 tons of walnuts to the Penza region of Russia, informs KyrTAG citing chairman of the association and foresters, Madanbek Karayev.
"We signed a contract for one year with Russia for the supply of 500 tons of walnuts from Jalal-Abad region. The first delivery will take place next week. It is planned to send 20 tons of the first batch of nuts to Penza, other parties of nuts will be delivered to Russia by the end of the year",- said M.Karayev.
According to him, the fruit to be sent to Russia purchased from farmers, then selects only the elite calibrated kernels that will have repeated cleaning in the plants.
"If the terms of the contract will be fully met, such supplies from Kyrgyzstan to Russia will become permanent", - he said.
