"On August 1, 02.42 MSK (04.42 Almaty time) in a predetermined area of the Pacific Ocean was made a flooding of non-combustible residues of TCS "Progress M-23M". In accordance with the program, experts of the mission control center turned on the inhibition of the propulsion system of the ship, and then began a controlled reduction of the TCS from the orbit"- said in a statement on Friday.
Rocket "Soyuz-U" with TCS "Progress M-23M" was launched from the cosmodrome "Baikonur" on April 9, 2014.
