Leaders of Organization of African-China Friendship meet in Beijing

Almaty. November 16. Silkroadnews - Leaders of Organization of African-China Friendship meet in Beijing, People’s Daily reported.
“Organized by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), the first meeting for African-China Friendship Organization Leaders was held in Beijing, the People’s Republic of China on Tuesday. The meeting, which brings together Friendship leaders from 19 African Countries, Chinese Local Authorities from 15 China’s Provinces, representatives from the Chinese Central Government and other key stakeholders, was based on the theme: “New Opportunities for the Belt and Road and Africa-China Cooperation,” the report reads.
Dai Bing, Director-General of the Department of African Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that since 2015, cooperation between China and Africa has been developing in various fields, 60,000 Africans are currently studying in China, and thousands of Chinese companies are working in Africa.
At present China and Africa work over preparation for the forum of cooperation to be held next year.
In turn, Ambassador of Madagascar to the People’s Republic of China Victor Sikonina said that Africa is currently grasping opportunities that were opened in the framework of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC). At the same time, he noted that Africa is a first-class partner who is always ready to work with China on a mutually beneficial basis.
According to the President of the Association of Chinese-African People’s Friendship (CAPFA) Abdul’ahat Abdurixit, the “One Belt One Road” initiative opens up opportunities for mutual cooperation and will promote further development of China and Africa.
CAPFA is an organization whose activities are aimed at developing friendship and mutual understanding between the Chinese people and foreign states.
The Association aims to strengthen people’s friendship and further international cooperation, ensure world peace and promote joint development.
