Leaders of US and North Korea plan to meet in Pyongyang

Beijing. March 12. Silkroadnews - The U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-un plan to meet in Pyongyang, the Kazakh Telegraph Agency (KazTAG) writes with reference to the Izvestia newspaper.
The meeting between the U.S. President D. Trump and leader of the DPRK Kim Jong-un is likely to be held in Pyongyang, the report said on Monday.
The source in Seoul noted, the North Korean side intends to raise the issue of establishing diplomatic relations between the DPRK and the United States.
To remind, on March 9, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un offered the U.S. president to hold a joint meeting, and D. Trump replied he will accept the offer. The statement was made by high-ranking representatives of South Korea in Washington delivering a proposal of the head of the DPRK to the American leader. In addition, Kim Jong-un agreed to stop rocket and nuclear tests, saying he is committed to the idea of denuclearization.
