List of countries Kazakhstan to introduce a visa-free regime will increase up to 56 states

Almaty. November 8. Silkroadnews – President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with representatives of business circles of Japan, the press service of the head of the state reported.

“This visit’s results, I believe, will play a crucial role to bring the strategic partnership between our countries to a qualitatively new level of (...) the potential of our relationship is not realized in full yet. Thus, today’s meeting is designed to enhance the trade and economic cooperation”, press service quoted N. Nazarbayev saying on Tuesday.

The president emphasized, the republic undertakes system measures to improve the business environment and attract investments. He also drew attention to the work being carried out to further improve Kazakhstan’s business climate and economy restructuring.

He also reminded that the country has “a liberal tax regime and quite simple tax administration”.

“In 2015 we increased the list of visa-free regime for citizens of 35 countries of the world, next year this list will be increased up to 56 states. Investors from Japan are welcome to arrive n Kazakhstan freely”, the president said.

The president reported on special economic zones operating in the republic, providing for a set of incentives and simplification of licensing procedures, as well as the industrial zones, the participants of which are provided by the due infrastructure from the state.

“We are ready to provide Japanese companies with a platform to realize the projects in the special and industrial zones. Besides, we are ready to place these zones under management by the Japanese companies”, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

President of Kazakhstan is paying the official visit to Japan through November 9.
