Marine DGPS to be installed in Kazakh waters of Caspian Sea

Astana. April 2. Silkroadnews – Radio beacon that indicates precise location of vessels has been produced in Kazakhstan. It will now be installed in Kazakh waters of Caspian Sea, as “KazKosmos” (National Space Agency) informs.
Marine Differential Global Positioning System (Marine DGPS) will provide precise radio navigation data that will increase level of safety of vessels at sea.
The data gathered by the DGPS is to be used for sea navigation, hydrographic and research purposes.
