Massimov promised Kyrgyz colleague to attract more Kazakhs to Issyk-Kul

Astana. July 14. Silkroadnews - Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov promised Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Djoomart Otorbayev to attract more Kazakhs to the Issyk-Kul, the press service of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
"We need to create all the conditions for Kazakh tourists to pass border points and have vacations in Kyrgyzstan. These measures shall be taken to create comfrtable conditions for a successful summer season. Today there are many critics for the passage of the border. We need to try to remove this problem. We all have to work on that"- quoted by the press service of the government of Kyrgyzstan K. Massimov on the outcome of negotiations with D.Otorbaev.
It is reported that during the negotiations prime ministers of two countries paid special attention to rapidly and safely border termination by citizens of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, including discussion of specific measures to improve the operation of checkpoints on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh state border, as well as improving infrastructure and control checkpoints in Chui, Talas and Issyk-Kul regions.
As a result, the heads of government jointly inspected the checkpoint "Ak-Jol" - "Kordai."
The parties agreed to start joint control at the customs clearance of goods and vehicles at checkpoints located on the territory of Kyrgyzstan with a pilot project at the checkpoint "Ak Jol" - "Kordai."
In 2013, 2.4 million Kazakhstan tourists visited Kyrgyzstan, which is 593 thousand more than in 2012. Thus most of the Kazakhs visit Issyk-Kul lake in summer.
As reported, Prime Minister Karim Massimov was in Kyrgyzstan with official visit on Saturday.
