Militant from Syria planning to found a terrorist underground cell has been detained in Kyrgyzstan

Almaty. October 3. Silkroadnews – Militant from Syria planning to found a terrorist underground cell has been detained in Kyrgyzstan, the Kyrgyz Telegraph Agency (KyrTAG) reports with reference to the National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In the course of counterterrorism measures aimed at suppressing the underground terrorist cells activities the National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic detained a member of the international terrorist organization, a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic, aged 30.
The detainee as it was found out, was recruited by ITO emissaries during his overseas travelling and sent to Syria for terrorist training. Having passed the training, he has been sent to Kyrgyzstan to found a terrorist underground cell.
The detainee is accused of illegal manufacture or repair of weapons (search revealed weapons stored at his place), taking part in organizations prohibited due to the extremists’ activities carried out.
The investigation is under way.
