Military exercises of air defense forces were held in the south-east of Iran
Almaty. August 11. Silkroadnews - Iranian Defense Forces conducted tactical exercises at the end of last week in the south-east of the country, according to the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) on Monday.
Deputy commander of the air base Khatam al-Anbiya General Alireza Sabahifard noted exercises, codenamed "Mesbah-ul-Huda" took place in the area of Chabahar in Sistan and Baluchistan. Iranian general said that they mainly involved equipment and spare parts located in Chabahar.
It is worth noting that the airbase Khatam al-Anbiya was reorganized into a separate structure from the Air Force of Iran in 2008. The size of its military structure is more than 18 thousand soldiers and officers. The responsibility of the air base is to monitor and control the entire network of military air defense of ground-based Islamic Republic.
