Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan proposes to prohibit the uninsured vehicles operation.

Almaty. 5 January. Silkroadnews - Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic submits to the public debate a draft regulatory legal act, KyrTAG reports.
Draft Resolution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Amendments to the Resolution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic “On approval of the traffic rules and guidelines for the admission of vehicles to operation and duties of the officials on road safety provision” submitted for the public discussion.
According to the document, when stopped on the police request the vehicle driver along with his/her driver license, registration documents and tax payment certificate, shall also show a civil liability insurance certificate.
It is proposed to ban the operation of vehicle whose owner failed to provide a compulsory insurance as required by law. .
The law “On compulsory third party car insurance” in Kyrgyzstan will take effect as of February 1, 2016.
Previously it was reported that the average tariff shall make 2210 Som per year. Its value shall be calculated separately for each vehicle - depending on the type of car, engine size, driver's age, driving experience, accident-free driving experience.
