Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan conducted a special operation to release hostages

Almaty. July 17. Silkroadnews - Law enforcement authorities of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan conducted a joint operation to release three Kyrgyz from captivity of drug traffickers, according to the Tajik news agency (TajikTA).
"Citizens of Kyrgyzstan were held in Sughd region of Tajikistan. Hostages were two men and one woman", - said the head of the Southern Regional Directorate for Combating Organized Crime Malik Nurdinov on Thursday.
According to the hostages, they were lured to Tajikistan fraudulently, they were kept locked and sometimes beaten.
So, during a joint operation were arrested 5 Kyrgyz and 2 Tajik citizen. They are suspected of carrying from RT to Russia 30 kg of heroin.
M.Nurdinov noted that this is the first case, but does not preclude the existence of such hostages, the case is being investigated.
