More than 1.6 million people suffered from the flooding in Central China
Almaty. June 5. Silkroadnews - More than 1.6 million people were affected by floods in Hunan Province in central China, reported Xinhua news agency.
"By June 4 the disaster hit 1 million 602 thousand residents of 54 counties in 9 cities, 6 people were killed and three reported missing, destroyed or severely damaged more than 8.6 thousand residential. From the disaster area urgently evacuated 104 thousand man",- says the publication.
As recalled by the agency from June 1st, in the north-west and the north of Hunan province is heavily raining. Rainfall in 7 townships and towns reached more than 200 mm, the maximum value reached 258.1 mm, which caused serious flooding.
Currently, held intensive work to liquidate the results of the disaster.
