More than $ 3.5 million was the damage caused by the earthquake in the Tajik Rushan
Almaty. December 14. Silkroadnews - Damage from the earthquake in Rushan district of Tajikistan's Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast (GBAO) exceeded $3.5 million, reported the Tajik news agency (TajikTA).
The earthquake had damaged houses, buildings, health centers, schools and cultural institutions, roads and bridges in several villages of the district.
As recalled by the agency after a strong earthquake on December 7 at a magnitude of 7.5, in the country were registered 15 aftershocks. The epicenter was located in the territory of the Murghab district 364 kilometers east of Dushanbe, and 22 km from the mountainous Lake Sarez.
