More than 60% of the main buyers of Uzbek cotton account for Bangladesh, China and South Korea

Almaty. October 21. Silkroadnews - According to the data of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade, the main buyers of Uzbek cotton in the current season still account for Bangladesh (29%), China (26%), South Korea (7%) and Iran (5%), more 60% of total export, transmits UzTAG.
Moreover, the government of Uzbekistan has focused not only on the reduction of exports and an increase in cotton processing within the country, but also establishing a logistics existing lines for supply of cotton in the international market.
"The government deliberately continues the policy of reducing exports by creating new businesses and increase the capacity of processing of cotton fiber. An efficient logistics system and the choice of optimal routes and corridors allow to ensure the timely delivery of Uzbek cotton fiber to all consumers",  - said at the opening of the cotton conference in Tashkent Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyayev.
