More than 600 enterprises put into operation in Kyrgyzstan in 2015
Almaty. February 1. Silkroadnews - In 2015 647 enterprises were put into operation in Kyrgyzstan, KyrTAG reports.
“At the end of 2015 there are 647 enterprises put into operation in the republic, which resulted in creating of 10534 jobs, including 62 companies and 462 new jobs in the Issyk-Kul region,” - said Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Oleg Pankratov at the Plenipotentiary representative of the government board meeting in the Issyk- Kul region.
According to him, last year the implementation of the major infrastructure projects, such as the extension of the runway and installation of modern air navigation equipment at the airport “Tamchy” allowing to accommodate aircraft of almost all the classes, has been initiated in the Issyk-Kul region.
“By the beginning of the tourist season in 2015 the flights “Bishkek-Osh-Tamchy” has been introduced, the opening of the flight “Almaty-Tamchy” is planned along with some others routes. This shall significantly increase the flow of tourists from the regions of the republic, as well as from foreign countries. Therefore, it serves as an additional source of replenishment of the budget of the republic and the region. In addition, the first stage of the rehabilitation of the ring road around the lake Issyk-Kul has been started. The total estimated cost of the rehabilitation makes $550 million,”- O. Pankratov said.
He also emphasized that the potential of the Issyk-Kul region takes a special place in the national economy.
