More than 80 horses exported Kazakhstan to China

Almaty. October 12. Silkroadnews - Thoroughbred horses have become a valuable subject of cross-border trade on the Silk Road between China and neighboring countries, reported Xinhua news agency.
"Trucks have long replaced the horse and camel caravans in cross-border trade between Xinjiang and neighboring countries", - says the publication.
So, the other day through checkpoint Bacta into China from Kazakhstan were brought 84 horses. It is the largest one-time import of horses across the checkpoint Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Republic, as well as the first for  Bacta checkpoint import of live animals.
As it became known, the import of horses in Xinjiang has become an important channel for further breeding of local breeds and promotion of cross-border trade.
