More than 9.6 billion cubic meters of gas exported to Iran in 2014

Almaty. June 12. Silkroadnews - Iran in 2014 increased its natural gas deliveries to foreign partners, bringing exports to just over 9.6 billion cubic meters, reported the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
As noted, the lion's share of Iranian gas is supplied to Turkey (8.9 billion cu.m), followed by Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Iran came to the first place in the world on the country's proven natural gas reserves, which by the end of 2014 were equal to 33.8 trillion cubic meters.
It is also noted that at the end of last year, oil reserves of the republic remained at the previous level and amounted to 157.8 billion barrels.
These data suggest that Iran owns 9.3% of world oil reserves, making the country the fourth largest oil power planet.
