Almaty. October 17. Silkroadnews – Gold Ounces’ price made $1289.7 as a result of the morning interbank fixing in London.
Regarding Monday evening fixing in dollar terms it decreased by 13.6.
The cost of gold ounce in euro made 1097.02 (-7.14), and in British pound – 973.47 (-7.78).
The interbank gold fixing is carried out every trading day at 10.30 and 15.00 GMT. The fixing results are used as a guide to trade the gold futures around the world. 5 financial institutes physically participating in delivery of gold determine the price.
