Morning interbank fixing in London closed with gold price increase

Almaty. October 18. Silkroadnews – Gold Ounces’ price made $1261.65 as a result of the morning interbank fixing in London.
Regarding Monday evening fixing in dollar terms it increased by 6.85.
The cost of gold ounce in euro made 1145.326 (+4.462), and in British pound – 1031.147 (-0.55).
The interbank gold fixing is carried out every trading day at 10.30 and 15.00 GMT. The fixing results are used as a guide to trade the gold futures around the world. 5 financial institutes physically participating in delivery of gold determine the price.
