Mortgage credits become more affordable in Kyrgyzstan

Almaty. September 23. Silkroadnews – Kyrgyzstan's Prime Minister Sooronbay Jeenbekov signed a decree «On amendments being made to Governmental decree «On approval of the government program «Affordable Housing 2015-2020»», KyrTAG writes.

Thus, the document highlighted two areas that contribute to improving the living conditions – «Affordable mortgage» and «Social housing». Each area is designed for relevant categories of citizens, taking into account the special needs and issues to be addressed.

In addition, the mortgage subject's parameters have been expanded: the size of total area of housing – not to exceed 80 square meters for apartments in apartment houses and 150 square meters for individual houses; the cost of one square meter of «turnkey» housing is not to exceed 60 thousand som on «Affordable mortgage» program and 40 thousand som on «Social housing» program.

«Affordable Housing 2015-2020» governmental program was adopted by the government decree dated August 5, 2015.
