National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has kept the discount rate at 10%
Almaty. October 27. Silkroadnews - The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan made a decision to keep the discount rate at 10%, reported the KyrTAG.
"The Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic on October 26, 2015 has decided to keep the size of the discount rate at 10%. Kyrgyzstan still has positive growth in the economy. Economic growth in January-September 2015 was 6.3%. It was driven mainly by increasing production at plants of deposit "Kumtor". The pace of real GDP growth excluding "Kumtor" is 4.3%", - said the deputy chairman of the National Bank Nurbek Zhenish at a press conference on Tuesday.
In October, obrserved a decline rate of inflation, the annual growth rate of which declined to 6.4% in September to 5.2% in October (16 numbers). This happened due to the persistence of low rates of growth in prices for food products and a group of lower domestic fuel prices.
Further dynamics of inflation will be determined by the situation on the currency market, the pace of development of foreign trade relations in the framework of the EAEC, the degree of uniformity of the state budget.
The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic will continue to monitor the situation in the economy and in accordance with the law will be taking appropriate measures of monetary policy.
