National Bank of Kyrgyzstan noted an increase in demand for foreign currency

Yesterday was held intervention in the amount of $17.6 million. The demand among commercial banks for foreign currency is completely satisfied",- informed the head of the monetary operations Raushan Seytkasymova.
According to her, som experienced shock in the first quarter of this year. In summer, the situation has stabilized. The exchange rate fluctuated between 59-63 soms per one dollar. On August 20 began a new shock.
"Now the banking system reserves are sufficient - about $330 million, including $85 million in cash", - she said.
