National Bank of Tajikistan raised the refinancing rate to 6.9%

Almaty. October 9. Silkroadnews - National Bank of Tajikistan raised the refinancing rate to 6.9%, reports Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) on Thursday.
"The Board of the National Bank of Tajikistan raised the refinancing rate by 1%", - the press-service reported.
It is noted that this decision was taken in order to ensure the effectiveness of monetary policy in view of the increasing inflationary pressures. Thus, the refinancing rate set at 6.9%.
TadjikTA reminds the last time the National Bank increased the refinancing rate on May 19 of this year to 5.9%.
