NATO not to withdraw troops from Afghanistan

Almaty. November 28. Silkroadnews – NATO states will not withdraw the alliance military units from Afghanistan, AfTAG reports.

The statement was made by British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson in his talks with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani.

According to Boris Johnson, the newly elected US president Donald Trump will not withdraw the US troops from Afghanistan being aware of the risks to the security of the region.

The alliance will also continue implementation of the Afghan militaries’ training program. B. Johnson expressed confidence that in the near future the western states can expand their presence in the Central Asian region, where radical Islamic organizations become more active.
