NATO Secretary General visited Afghanistan with an unannounced visit

Almaty. November 6. Silkroadnews - NATO Secretary General Jens Soltenberg arrived in Afghanistan with an unannounced visit on the eve of the withdrawal of the military alliance from the country, reported Afghan news agency (AfTAG).
This is the first visit of Soltenberg to IRA. During his visit, the secretary general had time to visit the training center for the NATO training of Afghan commandos of Kabul.
Soltenberg also addressed the Afghan troops and promised that NATO trainers and advisers will continue to assist them after the alliance forces completed their operations in the country at the end of the year.
Recall, after the withdrawal of the main forces of NATO, in Afghanistan will remain  about 12 thousand troops of the Western alliance.
