Nazarbayev and Rakhmon signed a number of documents in Dushanbe

Almaty. September 14. Silkroadnews - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev held a meeting in Dushanbe with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, reported the press service of the head of state.
During the meeting, Nursultan Nazarbayev thanked Rahmon for the invitation and hospitality and congratulated the Tajik people on the Independence Day and the 3000 anniversary of Hissar.
The Head of State also noted that countries adhere to uniform principles in international politics, as evidenced by the close cooperation in the framework of such organizations as the SCO, CSTO and CICA.
In turn, the Tajik president said that to date the partnership between the two countries strengthened in various fields, including trade and economy.
As part of the negotiations, the sides signed an agreement on strategic partnership between the two countries; Agreement between the Governments of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Tajikistan on cooperation in the field of technical protection of information; a cooperation program between the Foreign Ministries of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the RT; Protocol on making amendments and additions to the agreement between the two governments on labor activity and protection of the rights of migrant workers, the citizens of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Tajikistan temporarily working in the two countries from 4 May 2006; Protocol on making amendments and additions to the agreement between the Government of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of education, dated 13 June 2000; Agreement between the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Committee for Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Recall, Nazarbayev is on an official visit to Tajikistan.
