Nazarbayev instructed to study the issue of building and lease of terminals in the ports of China, Iran, Russia, EU

Astana. November 11. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev instructed the government to study the issue of building and lease of terminal facilities in dry, seaports of China, Iran, Russia and the European Union, transmits KazTAG.
"It is also necessary to continue the creation of a logistics hub in the east and maritime infrastructure in the west of the country. Increase the export potential in a westerly direction through the ports on the Caspian Sea will contribute to a large-scale ferry service from the port and the railway line Kuryk-Borzhakty-Ersai, which are now under construction",- he stressed.
According to the President, the development of transport and logistics infrastructure of Kazakhstan "will be implemented through the formation of macro-regions on the principle of the hub".
The Head of State noted that Kazakhstan should complete the construction of the highway "Western Europe - Western China".
