Nazarbayev offered Putin to cooperate on loading container trains from Europe to China

Astana. October 4. Silkroadnews – President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev offered to Russian President Vladimir Putin to work on the issue of loading container trains coming from Europe to China, KazTAG reports.

«Chinese partners say these trains return empty. We need to work together to understand what to load them with, as we have products to be used in this regard», N. Nazarbayev said at the XIII Forum of Interregional Cooperation of Russia and Kazakhstan in Astana on Tuesday.

He reminded, the joint transport and logistics company was established in 2014. As a result, the volume of container traffic in the direction China-Europe-China grows twice every year. Train speed has been raised up to 1 thousand km per day, which is 200 km higher compared to the previous one.
