Nazarbayev signs law on creation of joint regional air defence system of Kazakhstan and Russia
Astana. May 27. Silkroadnews – Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has signed a law on creation of joint regional air defence system of Kazakhstan and Russia, as his press office informs.
As reported earlier, countries are creating joint air defence system to tackle air defence tasks. This system is a part of a larger CIS member-states air defence system. Joint regional headquarters of this air defence system are to be opened in Almaty.
The parties to the agreement reserve its rights to utilise their military forces and resources in the ways that fit their national legislation, once the military threat emerges or war times come.
