Nearly four thousand sites blocked in China

Almaty. July 24. Silkroadnews – Nearly four thousand sites are blocked in China, information portal Chinaplus reports.
From April to June China blocked 3918 illegal sites, 443 were found to have violated the law and another 172 got warnings. Blocking was activated for the sites that hosted content posing a threat for national security, as well as ones propagandizing vulgarity, violence and disseminating groundless rumors, report said.
316 cases have been submitted to the court.
