New Ambassador of Canada took up a diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan

Tashkent. June 27. Silkroadnews - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted a newly appointed Canadian Ambassador with residence in Moscow John Ronald Kerr, said Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
"The Ambassador conveyed to President of the Republic of Uzbekistan credentials," - says the publication.
During the meeting they discussed issues of Uzbek-Canadian agenda, proposals from the parties for further development of cooperation in political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other fields.
Notes that the parties attach great importance to the regular bilateral political consultations and strengthen inter-parliamentary contacts, establishing direct links between regions and cities, universities, cultural institutions, tourist organizations of the two countries.
