New Iranian railway route is to go through the territory of Kazakhstan, President Nazarbayev announces

Bodrum. June 6. Silkroadnews - New Iranian railway route is to go through the territory of Kazakhstan, as Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev informed at the IV Turkic Council in Turkish Bodrum.
The route is to lie through Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iran and the Iranian port of Bandar-Abas.
"...we are to organise a trilateral meeting this October. This is a very important historic moment for Kazakhstan", President Nazarbayev said.
The Turkic Councill that was taking place in Bodrum finished on the 5th of June. Within the framework of the Council, it was decided to create support centres for the Turkic-speaking diasporas. This is to be done to increase influence on international politics. Cooperation strategy in the areas of education and economic development was discussed. Parties are also to cooperate when it comes to the creation of Turkic TV channel. Turkic Council was founded in 2009. It has 4 member-countries: Turkey, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan.
