New types of passports to be introduced in Uzbekistan

Almaty. November 24. Silkroadnews - The Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan registered a sample of a special sport passport and its regulations, the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) reports.
The sport passport will become a single document, certifying the athlete working for the sports and sport organization and his/her sport qualification. New sport passport will be introduced in two forms - in paper and in plastic.
“The passport will be issued to athletes whose category is not lower than the junior category, engaged in sports and participating in sports competitions on ongoing basis. The document will be used when sportsperson moves from one sport organization to another one, registering for participation in competitions, passing medical examinations, meeting the norms and requirements necessary for awarding titles and ranks,” ministry of justice noted.
