Beijing. March 16. Silkroadnews - Number of cattle in Tajikistan reached about 2.316 million by beginning of this March, the Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reports on Friday.
The number of cattle across all the categories of farms in Tajikistan has made 2 million 315 thousand 695 at the beginning of March this year, the press service of the country’s Ministry of Agriculture reports with reference to the statistics.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the number of small livestock was 5 million 582 thousand 128 head, and the poultry farming accounts for 5.262 million birds.
During the reporting period, more than 21 thousand tons of meat, 104.9 thousand tons of milk, over 54 million eggs, and 139.6 tonnes of fish were produced in all categories of the republic’s farms.
